Very pleasing read. There is a believeabilty to the entire plot and the details of places and things, really paint a visual image that you can hold onto.The print is dark and sized so you can keep reading even after your eyes get a little watery. A great " cold weather, stormy Day" Book. The characters are well developed and the story line doesn't get stale half way through. Good thing too. You just keep going as the author tantalizes you from chapter to chapter.

I have read many books by this author. It is exceptionally boring. He is very good and his books are usually riveting. This however falls far short of the mark. Not much action or suspense. Save your money.

Haven't read the book yet because I ordered several at once. Am huge fan of the author.

This shows how an author can mature. Much less superficial than the first two Scot Harvath books (Blowback, First Commandment), he's toned down the super-hero aspects and focuses more on detail, character and nuance. While the characters are still a little thin (I still can't really picture them in my mind or care that much about what happens to them), the details of how intelligence agents are trained and do their work is good (but not great). The plot is unique and holds your interest throughout, but the dialog remains humor-less.
